Agreement to Terms
Welcome to QR Code Scanner ("App," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application and any related services provided by us.
By accessing or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the App.
Use License
Grant of License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes strictly in accordance with these Terms.
Restrictions
You agree NOT to:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any content within it
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App
- Use the App to transmit any malicious code or harmful content
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
- Use automated systems or software to extract data from the App
User Accounts and Subscriptions
Subscriptions
Our App offers subscription-based premium features. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to:
- Payment: Pay the applicable subscription fees through the Apple App Store
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Billing: Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- Management: You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings
Subscription Plans
- Weekly Subscription: Access to premium features for one week
- Monthly Subscription: Access to premium features for one month
- Yearly Subscription: Access to premium features for one year
- Lifetime Access: One-time purchase for permanent access to premium features
Refunds
All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple in accordance with their refund policy.
Intellectual Property Rights
Our Intellectual Property
The App, including its original content, features, functionality, design, and branding, is and will remain the exclusive property of QR Code Scanner and its licensors. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Trademarks
Our name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are our trademarks or those of our affiliates or licensors. You may not use such marks without our prior written permission.
User Content
Any content you create using the App (such as scan history or favorites) remains your property. However, by using the App, you grant us a license to use, store, and process such content solely for the purpose of providing the App's functionality.
Disclaimer of Warranties
"As Is" Basis
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
No Warranty
WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement of third-party rights
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Security or freedom from viruses or harmful components
QR Code Scanning
We do not guarantee the accuracy of QR code scanning results. Always verify important information obtained through scanned QR codes independently.
Limitation of Liability
Exclusion of Damages
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your data
- Damages resulting from interruption or cessation of the App
- Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the App
Maximum Liability
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP OR SUBSCRIPTION IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless QR Code Scanner, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Any content you submit or transmit through the App
Termination
Our Right to Terminate
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the App will immediately cease
- All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive
Your Right to Terminate
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by deleting the App from your device and canceling any active subscriptions.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at nlpsafe@gmail.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.
Binding Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.
Class Action Waiver
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
By continuing to access or use the App after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. The waiver of any such right or provision will be effective only if in writing and signed by us.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties.
